Stephanie is a currently pursuing her Master’s in Counselor Education from the University of Minnesota and holds an interdisciplinary PhD in Medical Humanities from the University of Texas Medical Branch, where she focused on the traumatization of clinicians through the practice of medicine. Since graduating Stephanie has worked as a Medical Burnout and Traumatization Consultant for organizations such as the Minnesota Medical Association. Her work focuses on cross-sector collaboration with the aim of affecting policy change, shifting beliefs about burnout and psychological distress within medicine, and counteracting the ‘hidden curriculum’ in medical education.
