In partnership with the Sabo Center for Democracy and Citizenship at Augsburg College, The Center for Integrative Leadership makes available a series of forums for Cedar Riverside neighborhood leaders. Topics of interest have been selected by participants and have included included community organizing, media relations and advocacy. University of Minnesota speakers with relevant experience have also participated in the sessions, which are held the third Friday of every month over lunch. Participants connect and engage with each other in new ways to strengthen relationships and build trust. Each session also includes a skill-building component, drawing upon the talents and experiences of resource people to build capacity on organizational and leadership development topics of interest to the group. Check out the list of meeting summaries to the right to see a sample of topics.
