The Minnesota Young American Leaders Program offers a unique opportunity to solve complex issues, understand the dynamics of cross-sector collaboration, and collectively discuss what needs to be invested in for the future of our state and region. Participants also have the opportunity to collaborate after the Program to potentially launch an initiative for public good and to build a broader capacity in our region by deepening their practical knowledge of what it takes to make shared leadership initiatives happen.

Program Themes

• Economic Trajectory: Insights into the state, challenges, and future trajectory of the U.S. and Minnesota economies.
• Cross-Sector Leadership: Practical insights, frameworks, and case studies of cross-sector collaboration.
• Building Future Collaborations: Work directly within city cohorts to apply cross-sector tools and launch a Minimum Viable Benefit (MVB) initiative in your community.
• Leadership Chats: Candid, off-the-record discussions with prominent leaders sharing "views from the trenches."

By participating in MYALP, leaders will:
